Enterprise software and host Web-enablement specialist, Dax , has welcomed news of SAP Certification for the DataMirrorConstellar Hub EAI (enterprise application integration) software, saying the development provides local Oracle customers with a leg up when deploying integrated e-business applications.

Jeremy Matthews, MD of Dax Data - also the local distributor of DataMirror products, says interface certification by SAP for deployments of the DataMirror Constellar Hub EAI suite with SAP R/3 empowers organisations to rapidly integrate any combination of applications. "Constellar Hub is an Oracle-based enterprise application integration solution that enables the movement, transformation and integration of data between heterogeneous environments from a central point of control," he explains.

"The latest version of the product incorporates support for XML and HTTP, among others, to ensure that e-Business transactions are readily integrated with other core systems."

SAP/ALE Connector interface certification for DataMirror Constellar Hub enables current and potential DataMirror customers to benefit from easy integration of information in SAP with other enterprise applications including front office, outward-facing applications such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), portals and web supply chains.

Following the certification process, DataMirror has joined the mySAP.com Software Partner Programme, which aims to deliver complete, technically verified, turnkey software solutions to joint customers with reduced implementation times and costs. Matthews believes this will also have local implications as the Hub represents a powerful solution for the SAP economy by enabling the movement, transformation and integration of data between externally facing applications and SAP suites.
