The Saphila 2001 conference, hosted by the Africa SAP User Group, gets underway at Sun City on Sunday. The three-day conference and exhibition aims to bring clarity and hands-on experience to SAP users and businesses relying on enterprise resource planning systems.
The event, running from 30 September to 3 October, is aimed both at existing SAP customers and those interested in exploring SAP solutions for an e-business strategy. Keynote speakers include Jeffrey Mann, SAP VP of Electronic Business Strategies, Rainer Zinow, SAP AG VP of CRM, and Claus E Heinrich, SAP AG business economist. The conference will also feature plenary sessions and technical workshops covering issues such as the e-business marketplace, portal strategies, CRM and business intelligence.
Engineering Informatics, a SAP Africa partner in the area of mySAP Product Lifecycle Management, will launch its new product - Compaq Archive - at the event. The new product is produced and delivered in partnership with HP/Compaq.
