Readers of the respected US-based magazine named four SAS products as tops in their respective categories. By winning four out of 16 awards, SAS - the leader in business intelligence - was the only vendor to receive multiple awards in the intelligence focus area.
Through the voting process, Intelligent Enterprise subscribers - including C-level executives, top application development managers, data management and business intelligence decision-makers - determined which IT products best enable an "intelligent enterprise". Readers made their choices among several categories of products in the four Intelligent Enterprise technology focus areas: intelligence, integration, infrastructure and collaborative commerce.
For the second successive year, SAS Enterprise Miner surpassed the competition in the Data Mining Tools category, and SAS Text Miner outranked the field in the new Unstructured BI Applications category. Readers selected SAS/STAT, which provides comprehensive data analysis tools, as the leader in the Predictive Modelling Tools category, while SAS IntelliVisor led the Clickstream-Analysis Tools category.
