Satellite L650 & L655 - meeting your everyday computing needs

Toshiba Computer Systems showcases its latest Satellite laptops focusing on design and performance aimed at meeting users' everyday computing needs.

All standard L650 series feature a 15.6-inch (39.6cm) HD display with LED backlighting, offering full mobility and high performance while on the go. Also with RAM up to 8GB DDR3 (1 066MHz); 2.5-inch HDD up to 640GB.

The L650 has up to 4.5 hours of battery life with an ATI dedicated GPU with up to 1GB VRAM.

The Satellite L655 has 5.5 hours of battery life and comes loaded with an Intel Core i3-350M processor that runs Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium and features an Intel HD graphics engine with 64MB-1 696MB with an ATI dedicated graphics card with VRAM up to 1GB. It has a 320GB HDD with 4GB of DDR3 memory and is ideal for both consumers (Satellite) and SMEs also (Satellite Pro).

The Toshiba Media Controller makes content streaming between connected DLNA capable devices easy. The Toshiba Media Controller Plug-In for Internet Explorer allows users to comfortably stream Flash videos stored on the YouTube video platform directly to a connected DLNA capable TV set's large screen.

The Satellite L655 comes in four different colours (model dependent): Steel Grey, Pearl White, Modena Red, and Maroon Brown, and start from R6 999 (incl VAT). These models are available from Mustek (011 237 1000).
