Savi starts $1m expansion
Specialized-Audio Visual (SAVI), which provides audio systems and production services to performing arts centres, corporate clients and Broadway productions, has started construction on a $1 million, 11 000 square foot addition to its existing plant, states Bizjournals.
Savi outfits five to seven Broadway productions a year with systems designed for touring shows.
Michael Cusick, Savi's president, said the company will occupy the new space in early 2009.
Hilton chooses AAVC
The Hilton San Diego Bayfront, due to open 3 December, has selected American Audio Visual Centre (AAVC), to become its partner for audio-visual, multimedia production and technical services, says eMediaWire.
AAVC will keep an extensive inventory of the latest in audio, video and lighting technology on the property.
In addition, AAVC on-site staff will consist of a highly experienced technical team for turnkey meetings, presentations and show services.
Vault Technology eyes audiovisual market
Vault Technology plans to focus resources on the audiovisual system integration and technology solutions market segments, reports Marketwire.
The company has decided to deploy additional resources into the acquisition of operating entities that deliver products and services related to audiovisual systems integration, home theatre systems and digital media.
