Fujitsu Siemens Computers has extended its Professional PC range with the launch of the SCENIC F LCD PC. The Scenic F is the first All-in-One PC targeted at customers who want to minimise the space required by desktop computers and their overall IT costs, fitting perfectly wherever space is a consideration. The smart combination between PC and 15-inch LCD monitor with its integrated manageability functions helps to reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO).
Anticipated areas of usage are call centres, travel agencies, hospitals, banks and post offices. The versatile SCENIC F can also be used as SAP workplace and in front offices. The new system has been designed to operate in centralised managed network environments and focuses on key performance areas such as reliability, flexibility, security and low service costs.
The SCENIC F is equipped with the Pro Manageability Package. This package prepares the SCENIC F for use in large enterprise networks and helps to lower the TCO. Through DeskView, the Fujitsu Siemens Computers intelligent management tool, administration is vastly simplified.
In addition to high performance, simple administration and excellent ergonomics, the new SCENIC F features the highest levels of security. Unauthorised user access is prevented by the Pro Security Package including a PC card SmartCard adapter with the security software SICRYPT SMARTY - making the SCENIC F an ideal solution for security-conscious enterprises such as banks, insurance companies and public services.
The SCENIC F is based on Intel processor and Intel 815E chipset technology. Processors range from Intel Celeron processors up to 1GHz to Intel Pentium III processors up to 1GHz. The SCENIC F offers four USB ports, two at the rear and two at the side. The audio speakers are located at the side. The systems particularly feature a sophisticated design and ventilation concept to achieve unrivalled low noise levels.
