The HP LaserJet 4100 available from SDD has been described by Ashley Botha, product manager for HP printers at SDD, as the most advanced workgroup printer yet, offering business users a reliable, easy to use and expandable platform to support printing e-services. Equipped with a 250MHz processor and standard memory of 16MB RAM, expandable to 256MB, the HP LaserJet 4100 ensures reliable performance and improved productivity in busy office environments, printing up to 150 000 pages per month. Botha also mentions the HP Supportpack. "This inclusive package extends the standard 1 year warranty to a three-year next day on-site warranty."
He continues, "The HP LaserJet 4100 is geared to meet a workgroup's complex demands simply." HP Web JetAdmin allows easy network installation, remote diagnostics and error correction while the Embedded Web Server enables communication between users or administrators and the HP LaserJet 4100, via a standard Web browser.
The new HP smart print supplies system allows you to view toner and media levels and order your supplies online. Furthermore, the 'no shake' print cartridge delivers consistent quality. The HP LaserJet 4100 also offers a variety of paper handling options, including paper input capacity of 1600 sheets, an optional duplex feeder unit and an envelope feeder.
Flexible connectivity is made easy with HP's accessible architecture with Enhanced IO (EIO) interface via HP JetDirect print servers. Partner solutions are also available for virtually all network environments. "Enhanced document management features like proof and hold, private printing, quick copy and booklet printing simplify workflow and improve productivity," says Botha.
