B> Seagate Technology, Inc. (NYSE:SEG) honored Eurologic Systems, a leading designer and manufacturer of high availability, mission-critical data storage products with its prestigious OEM Partner of the Year Award. Joel Stead, Seagate`s senior vice president, International Sales, presented the award to John Maybury, Eurologic chief executive officer, at a meeting of Eurologic employees at the Company`s Clonshaugh manufacturing facility.
"We are honored to receive the OEM Partner of the Year Award from Seagate," said Maybury. "Seagate development teams work very closely with ours, and by providing us with leading-edge technologies, Seagate enables us to provide our customers with the solutions they need."
Incorporating drives from Seagate`s award-winning Barracuda and Cheetah families into Eurologic`s data storage arrays has provided Eurologic with an opportunity to enter emerging OEM and vertical markets across a broad range of industries. Eurologic has consistently been an early adopter of next generation High End disc drives, including products featuring the Fibre Channel interface, 10,000-rpm and Ultra2 (LVD) technologies.
