Seagate, Rectron call on resellers to sign up for channel programme

Storage leader Seagate and official South African distributor Rectron are encouraging local resellers to sign up for the EMEA Seagate Partner Programme which offers a number of benefits such as access to an online repository of important channel-related information.

Since Rectron`s appointment earlier this year, the distributor has worked hard to further drive and promote Seagate`s brand to the local marketplace. The company is responsible for the local distribution of Seagate`s hard drive and external storage offerings as well as retail and office assistance products.

According to Cheslynne Britz, Seagate product manager at Rectron, it is highly beneficial for resellers to join the channel programme as it will undoubtedly further assist their sales efforts.

"Importantly, the Seagate Partner Programme will give resellers that important heads-up on what products are coming and what trends they can expect - this all will enable them to gain an important competitive-edge."

The Seagate Partner Programme`s online repository for example provides important and current information on sales and marketing, upcoming events and new product releases.
