Seagate Software, a pioneer in Enterprise Information Management (EIM), has announced its certification of two automation products from Exabyte Corporation, a provider of tape backup and intelligent, automated data storage solutions.
The Exabyte FC11 Fibre Channel to SCSI Router and Exabyte 230DAutomated DLT Tape Library are certified with Seagate Backup Exec Shared Storage Option for Windows NT and NetWare, enabling both companies to expand their support for Windows NT and NetWare Fibre Channel solutions.
"Seagate Backup Exec Shared Storage Option has been developed to support prominent hardware vendors, such as Exabyte, in the emerging Fibre Channel market.
