Selectica to host summit

Selectica, a US provider of contract lifecycle management solutions, will be holding its second annual contract management summit, Fusion '08, at the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa, in California, 26 to 28 October, says MarketWatch.

This year's conference will focus on "improving revenue and reducing risk in a compliance driven world", and will include presentations and group discussions.

Highlighting Fusion '08 will be keynote presentations by noted industry experts and research analysts on topics such as "value-based sales agreements: growing revenue potential".

iContracts, a US-based provider of contract management solutions for life sciences manufacturers and distributors, has raised $4 million from Edison Venture Fund, says Private Equity Hub.

The proceeds will be used to expand development, marketing and sales. The contract management solutions are designed for the unique requirements of life sciences manufacturers and distributors.

The suite manages chargeback, rebate and Medicaid processes. iContracts also complies with government pricing regulations and incentive agreements.

I-many, a provider of contract management software and services, reported financial results for the second quarter ended 30 June 2008, reports MarketWatch.

Highlights from the quarter included net revenues totalling $10.2 million, an increase of 38% from $7.4 million reported in the previous quarter and an increase of 1% from $10 million reported in the same period a year ago.

Recurring revenue was up by 8%, to $5.3 million, vs. Q1 2008 and up 12% vs. Q2 2007. During the quarter it also acquired Edge Dynamics, a leading provider of channel management solutions
