Official South African partner, Bytes Business Solutions has introduced Serena Software`s new TeamTrack for ChangeMan, a mainframe software solution that combines the process-rich capabilities of TeamTrack with ChangeMan ZMF, the company`s mainframe change management offering.
TeamTrack for ChangeMan enforces consistent processes and promotes user accountability across the application lifecycle, which enables enterprise-wide communication and productivity improvements.
Serena is of the only vendors to offer a single process automation solution for mainframe environments.
In addition, TeamTrack for ChangeMan provides a single management user interface for tracking software change management activity. Explains Justin Arnoldi, SCM product manager for Bytes Business Solutions: "As the solution is web-based, customers are able to easily view and approve application changes from a web browser, regardless of the platform. This in turn streamlines the development process and improves business agility."
TeamTrack for ChangeMan is easy to customise and can readily extend to other IT solutions, enabling customers to unify change management with other business processes across the enterprise.
The introduction of TeamTrack for ChangeMan represents a significant milestone in the company`s delivery of Serena`s Application Framework for Enterprises (SAFE), which was announced in September 2003.
