Shoden wins top HDS partner awards

Johannesburg, 02 Jun 2010

Data centre technology specialist, Shoden Data Systems, was recently recognised by Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) as its 2009 Partner of the Year in the CEEMEA region, for the sixth year running. The awards ceremony took place at Istanbul, Turkey during May 2010.

According to HDS, this award is presented to its best-performing partner within the region and represents the highest level of partner achievement possible.

Together with this award, Shoden also received the 2009 Enterprise Sales Partner of the Year award, which is presented to the partner with the highest sales achievement within the enterprise storage product range.

Phillipe Fosse, Vice-President Channels EMEA, HDS, says these awards are presented to HDS partners that have proven their ability to deliver excellent services and solutions based on the HDS brand.

“They also recognise partners such as Shoden who continue to contribute towards maintaining HDS's leadership position in the market,” he adds.

Shoden supports the entire HDS product portfolio and has the largest certified Hitachi skills base in sub-Saharan Africa.

The organisation is, as such, able to design, architect, configure, deploy and provide post-sales and service support around the HDS solution set directly to their clients.

According to Adrian Wood, Manager: Business Development at Shoden Data Systems, core to Shoden achieving these awards is the exceptional performance of the organisation's sales and services teams who always go the extra mile and take the utmost pride in supporting their customers.

“We're extremely proud that Shoden's hard work and dedication has again been recognised with these prestigious awards,” Woods says.

“It is the strength of the Shoden family that ensures we continue to remain one of the most respected international partners to HDS,” he concludes.
