Specialist telecommunications distributor, Siltek Telecoms, has taken over distribution of the Dialogic range of CTI products.
As a result of refocusing and consolidation within the Siltek group, it has been decided to transfer the dealership from One Technology Group (OTG) to Siltek Telecoms. Both companies fall under the Siltek Group banner, but according to Siltek Telcoms MD, Michael Aitken, the consolidation is in the best interests of all parties.
"Siltek Telecoms is a focused telecommunications distributor and our distribution model fits the products better. We also currently manage distribution of a number of CTI software vendors that are reliant on the Dialogic cards," states Aitken.
Glenn Miller, managing director of OTG, comments, " In developing our focus as the own brand systems company within the Siltek Group, Dialogic was identified as non-core to our business model. We have, however, achieved immense success with this brand in the past and our ties with Dialogic remain strong. There is great benefit in the Siltek Group maintaining the Dialogic agency and clearly the Siltek Telecoms model will unlock further potential from the brand."
Tom Van Bellinghen, export sales manager at Dialogic Telecom (Europe), explains that Dialogic sees the move to Siltek Telecoms as an opportunity to increase the value-add offered locally. "Dialogic is confident that this renewed focus will lead to even better co-operation in the near future," he concludes.
