The Sitecore Customer Engagement Platform helps companies understand which marketing and outreach initiatives bring value to the business and customers.

Destination CRM says the platform is geared towards medium and large business-to-business and business-to-consumer firms.

It enables users to pull their Web, e-mail, and social media reporting into one dashboard and personalise content across their entire site and via e-mail.

It also allows marketers to integrate all channels, including Web content management, e-mail campaigns, and the CRM system.

The platform has three major parts including engagement analytics, engagement and the personalisation and experience editor, states Fierce Content Management.

Analyst Scott Liewehr from the Gilbane Group says: “The Sitecore platform should allow the marketer or experience managers to easily configure the rules and personalised Web experiences for each of its target audiences, all within the context of the page itself.

“This should take much of the guesswork out of the personalisation process."
