| Smile a while at this cool site

Check out Julie`s Geeks site (http://www.happychaos.com/geeks/) which features some really great computer-related cartoons. In particular, check out the cartoon entitled "Technology at its best". While the site hasn`t been updated recently, it`s still quite a hoot.

| Out, damned devil!

Check out The Register at http://www.theregister.co.uk/000310-000003.html for a story entitled: "US preacher finds demon-possessed PCs". According to the wacky article, the minister estimates that one in 10 computers in America now host some type of evil spirit (and we`re not talking Windows here!). No matter how off-the-wall this story sounds, it does kinda explain computers` often-erratic behaviour!

| Dull men of the world unite

Reuters reports that there`s now a Web site for the man who has everything - except a life.

Promising to free its readers from the pressures of trying to be "in and trendy," http://www.dullmen.com/ reviews dull books, tells dull jokes and lists dull events for every month of the year.

"In March, we like to watch maple trees during sugaring time. Sap dripping - just right to watch - the right pace, the right suspense," suggests the site run by the US-based National Council of Dull Men.

The site is laid out in shades of grey, black and white, and also offers a test with questions like "Do you like to watch airport luggage carousels?" and "Do you like English food?" to help readers find their true selves.

A new section was opened after all the site`s dull readers e-mailed the Web master after spotting typos on the site. "This is a fun thing to do for dull men," says the site. "In fact, some have enjoyed it so much that we are now intentionally, but secretly, hiding a few typos here and there for you to find."

| Cool quote of the week

"Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go."

| Thought for the week

If lawyers are disbarred and clergymen are defrocked, doesn`t it follow that electricians can be delighted, musicians denoted, cowboys deranged, models deposed, tree surgeons debarked and dry cleaners depressed?
