Softline Enterprise today announced new performance enhancements for SalesLogix users. Core architecture enhancements allow users to load and work with lists of thousands of customer records within seconds. Enhanced .NET server technology enables thin-client deployment of the SalesLogix Web interface without additional software downloads. These and other features are part of the SalesLogix CRM version 6.2.3 performance pack now available from Softline Enterprise and its business partners.
"Our customers need higher performance to address their increasingly complex business processes," says Ashley Ellington, managing director, Softline Enterprise.
"We constantly seek feedback from customers, partners and the entire CRM market to drive continuous product enhancement. The performance gains introduced today are an excellent example of our ability to convert this market intelligence into product capabilities that successfully address our customers' requirements."
SalesLogix CRM Web server enhancements provide for greater user scalability while retaining compatibility with existing installations and customisations. The Web architecture can now support five times more users with a smaller memory footprint, better utilising existing server hardware.
Softline Enterprise CRM business partners, specialising in SalesLogix deployment and vertical market customisation, have found the increased processing performance of virtual server-side cursors to be particularly impressive.
"The processing speed alone is a dramatic piece of this performance pack release," says Ellington. "We have clients who can now search and retrieve lists of over 500 000 customer records in a matter of seconds. This type of performance is unique in the industry and will provide our clients with significant productivity improvements."
Additionally, the SalesLogix performance pack includes database administration enhancements, a new database-independent performance profiler utility and provides new customisation controls for graphs, charts and spreadsheet grid views of customer-related data.
