Softline Enterprise is official bronze sponsor of Customer Management World Africa 2006

Johannesburg, 02 Feb 2006

Softline Enterprise has partnered with Africa's leading event for integrated customer management strategies and solutions, Customer Management World Africa 2006, as a bronze sponsor.

Showcasing its award-winning customer relationship management (CRM) solution, SalesLogix, Softline Enterprise will aid the conference in providing integrated customer management strategies and solutions to directors of marketing, sales and customer service teams. The conference will take place at Gallagher Estate from 6 to 10 March 2006.

Ashley Ellington, managing director, Softline Enterprise, says a new breed of customer is driving CRM integration initiatives.

Equipped with more information than ever before, this new breed of customer is empowered enough to demand better customer service, higher quality products and more recently, improved integration.

"By participating in Customer Management World Africa 2006, we are able to create a platform for SalesLogix, providing customers with the exact CRM integration solution they require."

Ellington says he understands the demand for integration because an integrated system is one of the simplest ways to realise the hidden value in an IT investment. "When it comes to CRM it's important to understand all the benefits of an integrated system before beginning your selection process. Customers are at a point where they understand the basics and are savvy enough to determine what kind of integration will best benefit the business going forward. The conference will give them the ideal opportunity."

Elevating its CRM offering even more is its rating as one of the biggest scorers in Forrester Research's Wave report in 2005. The report evaluated the strengths and weaknesses of eight of the leading mid-market on-premise sales force automation (SFA) products across 151 criteria.

SalesLogix was ranked as a leader in the mid-market product evaluation and small business category, while Softline's parent company, Sage, was voted as one of the best all-in-one solutions as a result of its acquisition of strong ERP providers.

With more than 25 000 users at 6 500 companies, SalesLogix is the mid-market CRM leader that enables businesses and divisions of large corporate organisations acquire, retain and develop profitable customer relationships. "Sales, marketing, customer service and support teams are able to improve the management of their relationships with customers and prospects through the use of this CRM product," concludes Ellington.
