Solace, Tibco partner
Solace Systems has entered into a partnership agreement with Tibco Software to develop and manufacture a hardware application, Tibco Messaging Appliance, says TMCnet.
In this partnership, Solace is the manufacturing partner of Tibco. The product will be distributed as part of the Tibco Rendezvous products family.
The Tibco Messaging Appliance is capable of offering a high throughput rate with ultra-low latencies. It helps organisations to simplify the process of data delivery and reduce the data centre footprint, thereby accelerate the entire messaging process.

Suffolk bans SMSing while driving
The Suffolk Legislature passed a measure yesterday banning text-messaging while driving, a move the measure's sponsor hopes will spur state-wide legislation, reports Newsday.
The county legislature approved the measure 15 to one, with one abstention.
Jay Schneiderman, the Bill's sponsor, said he was tired of waiting for the state to take action. "I'd prefer a state-wide law," he said. "But I think the state will follow our lead."
