Solotech acquires Specs Audio

Founded in 1977, Solotech provides sound, video, lighting and rigging systems to customers around the world. The Gatineau location and an existing Kingston office will both support customers in Eastern Ontario, said Solotech, which did not release financial details of the purchase.

Ottawa Business Journal says star performers ranging from Jay-Z to Celine Dion often use Solotech's technology.

"Specs Audio is very active in certain market segments and they will continue to develop these markets to complement Solotech's sales and integration business," Solotech stated.

"The addition of Specs Audio to Solotech's expanding number of regional offices adds significant logistical resources to Solotech's growing presence in the Ottawa/Gatineau and Eastern Ontario market.”
