Progress Software SA, the local distributor of Sonic Software`s range of products, has launched SonicXQ 1.5, an enterprise service bus (ESB) said to be the only enterprise-class integration infrastructure for distributed business environments and computing models.
The product`s extensible, standards-based architecture enables organisations to accelerate deployment of flexible, cost-effective integration across the extended business.

These high-function, low-cost ESBs are well suited to be the backbone for service-oriented architectures and the business nervous system.

In this year`s Web Services Journal`s First Annual Readers` Choice Awards, SonicXQ beat out products from IBM and BEA, taking first place awards for Best Web Services Middleware and Best Web Services Foundation.
