Spec Systems, a company that specialises in barcode label and PVC card printing solutions, has established a new business division that is focused on delivering mobile solutions.
The new division provides companies with a real-time, fully automated barcode systems incorporating the latest in mobile scanning technology to accurately track and monitor a company's assets, stock, work in progress, warehouse management and bespoke solution development.
Launched on 1 May 2005, headed by Brett Rousseau, this division also offers mobile solutions for a wide range of barcode and RFID applications.
"As all our solutions are portable and in addition provide real time data collection via radio frequency, the accuracy and time savings that our solutions provide offer significant financial benefits to large and small organisations alike," says Colin Roux, managing director of Spec Systems.
"Additionally, this is a full solution offering integration directly into most accounting applications and is coupled with full maintenance, support and training from our side."
The market reaction to this solution has been very good, with organisations like MTN and others already undertaking Spec Systems services.
"The fundamental reasons the market has reacted so well to our offering is because of our service-oriented approach, knowledge of a wide range of products and integration skills," says Roux.
Additionally, the Spec Systems mobile solution allows people to gain real-time verification of queries, as the units are supported through a radio frequency network for instant communication on issues like price queries.
"Our solution is not just a tweaked version of batch collecting, but accurate turnkey solutions for businesses in manufacturing, financial services, track and trace, logistics, route accounting, and retail," concludes Roux.
