SPI, the Sub-Saharan distributor for Optio Software and Xi Software today announced that it continues to have success in the tertiary academic environment.
A number of universities have installed and/or upgraded their software with SPI's product offerings. Included are the Walter Sisulu University, the merged entity of the Transkei University, Border Technikon and the Eastern Cape Technikon, University of Johannesburg and Venda University, who have installed Optio products. Additionally, the University of the North has upgraded their Xi Software installation and the University of Botswana and the University of Johannesburg have upgraded their respective Optio installations.
"These changes confirm the acceptance of our products in these environments," commented Chris Anderson, MD of SPI, "and complement the installations we already have with UNISA and Stellenbosch University."
