Spice unveils 3D phone
3D technology was till now limited to TVs, computers and cameras but mobile phone makers Spice Mobiles has introduced the technology on its latest handset, reports The Latest News.
The company has rolled out India's first 3D phone called View D. The handset is officially termed as M-67 3D, which features a 2.4-inch auto-stereoscopic or 'glasses-less' display. Besides 3D display, View D also offers 3D enabled video player, image viewer, and a 3D capable user interface.
The phone has the dual SIM (GSM+GSM) capability as well. The other features include a 2MP camera, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and memory expandable up to 16GB.
IMAX develops audio calibration tech
IMAX Corporation has unveiled Nxos Calibrator, a patent-pending technology designed to tune and automatically monitor Imax audio systems, writes Market Watch.
The new technology applies the equivalent of thousands of bands of equalisation to perform a highly detailed tuning of the Imax audio system. Imax Nxos Calibrator is designed to significantly exceed the capability of manual equalisation processes.
Imax's audio systems feature proprietary loudspeaker technology and uncompressed digital sound, with much greater dynamic range than conventional systems.
FocusVision unveils HD video streaming
FocusVision has unveiled High Definition (HD) video streaming, says SFGate.
