
SpringCM eyes public sector
Cloud content management vendor SpringCM has inked an agreement with Point One to offer SpringCM's cloud solutions to government agencies, says Earth Times.
The deal means SpringCM and Point One will provide the public sector with access to cloud enterprise content management solutions as well as grants and contract management.
"With the momentum around cloud computing and content management initiated by the Federal CIO and OMB, governmental agencies are looking for ways to more quickly and cost-effectively deliver on applications that support their missions," says Steve Maier, GM of the government solutions division at SpringCM.
eMagination sells for $4.3m
US-based Bridgeline Digital, which sells content management software, has bought out eMagination Intelligence Group for $4.3 million, states Tech Journal South.
eMagination sells Web application development, content management solutions and e-commerce solutions.
The company has achieved sales of more than $5.4 million over the last four quarters.
Sitecore appoints MS veteran
Content management system provider Sitecore has named Microsoft veteran Jean-Paul Gomes as the company's vice-president of global strategic alliances, reports Market Watch.
Gomes will be charged with driving partnerships with enterprise technology companies, outsourcing firms, systems integrators and service providers.
He says: "I'm excited by the opportunity to create and extend industry relationships that help enterprises leverage Web content management as a communications and digital marketing platform."
