Sprint, Samsung unveil biodegradable phone
Sprint has unveiled the eco-friendly Samsung cellphone, outfitted with a biodegradable plastic casing made from 80% recyclable materials, with 40% made from corn, reports CSMonitor.
The 'green' cellphone, called the Samsung Reclaim, is displayed in packaging made from 70% recycled materials and printed materials using soy-based ink, and will be sold for $50 with a two-year service agreement.
It is being touted “as the first phone in the US constructed from eco-friendly bio-plastic materials,” and Sprint and Samsung say it's “free of polyvinyl chloride, phthalates, and nearly free of brominated flame retardants”.

Well, maybe not a million, but it probably has a plug for most users' portable gadgets, whatever they may be. Users can plug a gadget directly into the sunlight-scraping juice pack and charge using the sun, or plug it into the included battery. If one has forgets to charge the battery it can be charged via USB as well.
Included in the charging adapters are mobile phone adaptors for LG, Motorola, Nokia (thin and standard plug), Samsung, Sony Ericsson (wide and standard plug) and iPhone.
Dazzboard releases iGoogle gadget
Dazzboard has released an iGoogle Gadget in order to expand its online services, says TMCnet.
Dazzboard is a social media Webtop, providing users with seamless point-and-click connectivity to photos, music, videos and the Internet.
It claims to bring universal media management to iGoogle and has been designed to provide the same functionality as the Dazzboard device manager.
