Square One Power Solutions, the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) specialist in the JSE-listed ICT company, Square One Solutions Group, has been named Top Gold Partner in southern Africa for 2005 by international UPS manufacturer American Power Conversion (APC).
The award, based on revenue generated for the year, was handed to Square One Power Solutions national sales manager Neil Burnard by APC SA regional sales manager Thys Hattingh. Square One Power also won the award in 2004.
Square One Power has been involved in the design and installation of a number of APC's InfraStruXure (ISX) integrated architecture solutions for data centres. UPS solutions have been commissioned at many leading South African companies and organisations, including SA Post Office, Telkom, SA Revenue Services, Sasol, Clicks, Pick 'n Pay, Sovereign Health, Sun International, Tiger Brands, Super Group, Anglo Coal, PFG Building Glass and Bowman Gilfillan, among others.
The company also holds APC's Global Services (AGS) accreditation which enables Square One Power to guarantee to customers using APC uninterruptible power supply (UPS) equipment that installation and commissioning is of the highest quality and that they will receive preferential support backed by minimum response times and immediate spares availability.
