Staffware today announced that Virgincars.com, the recently launched on-line retailing site, has installed Staffware eProcess as the technology backbone for a ground breaking eProcess application.
Staffware is being implemented to link the front end web site to the back office via an end-to-end process automation solution which manages and tracks the order fulfilment on the e-tailer`s site. This will enable customers to buy on-line from one of the biggest virtual car showrooms in the UK and for queries and orders to be handled quickly and efficiently.
John O`Connell, Chair and CEO, Staffware stated: "First generation websites have been built without process automation software to drive the site, so enquiries have had to be processed manually. Virgincars.com is using Staffware eProcess to define and create fully automated business processes, leading the way in the development of integrated eBusiness web sites."
George Fildes, Customer Operations Director for Virgincars.com commented: "Staffware is the ideal process automation solution for us. Its implementation will create the eCommerce vision we have for Virgin Cars enabling us to lead the market in quality of service and reduce the time to revenue for this site."
