Transcend has released the StoreJet OTG mobile management device with increased storage capacity for mobile users.
Distributed to South African users by official distributor Rectron, the StoreJet OTG bridges the gap between the limited memory capacity of personal mobile devices and the mega storage of multimedia PCs.
The StoreJet features a High Contrast Colour OLED Display (128 X 64 pixels), weighs in at 189g battery included, and the Internal rechargeable Li-ion (1200mAh) battery supports 1.5 hours of continuous copy and 4.5 hours on standby.
"With a 30GB Micro Hard Disk Drive, the StoreJet is fully compatible with Hi-Speed USB 2.0 OTG (On The Go) specification, and data transfer rates take place at 14MB/sec for peripherals and 4MB/sec in standalone configuration," says Reon Coetzee, marketing manager at Rectron.
StoreJet OTG supports the direct input and exchange of data between most USB and Mini USB devices including:
* Flash drives
* Digital cameras
* MP3 players
* MultiCard readers
* Hot key control for full backup and storage of connected devices
* Bi-directional data transfer
* Hot-swappable connecting devices
