Streamworks, the supply chain management and industrial IT company which listed in May 1999, bid farewell to the JSE this morning.
Founded in 1992, Streamworks first focused on industrial IT to maximise production in South African factories.
It later broadened its focus to include the provision of solutions and professional services in supply chain management and e-commerce.
Streamworks announced in April 2001 that it had been bought by JSE-listed DNA Supply Chain Investments.
Although trading in the Streamworks share was suspended, its listing was retained until the final payment for the purchase had been made.
Shareholders at Streamwork's annual meeting on 10 January approved the termination of the listing, which took effect from the start of trade today.
DNA achieved turnover of R2.4 billion and attributable income of R12.2 million in the year to June 2002.
Its share price was unchanged at 36c on the JSE this morning.
