In just such a partnership, Strive Software International and Unlimited Consulting have teamed up on a project for Concor Holdings, one of the leading construction companies in SA.
Unlimited Consulting was contracted to provide in-house training for Concor employees on software systems. The ICAS system was deployed to assist Concor to manage the training schedules of participants, thus ensuring they coordinate their training efforts and maximise on economies of scale. Employees and management collaborated to develop individual training plans and then employees were able to enrol for their courses and manage their own learning. They progressed through pre- and post-assessment skills assessments and their progress was continuously measured and reported.
Unlimited Consulting believes that an organisation should be empowered to become a learning organisation, by managing its own training programmes. It uses the ICAS system to underline this philosophy.
The ICAS system becomes particularly useful when employees participate in different programmes and progress at different rates. In yet another collaboration, Unlimited Consulting has used the ICAS system to deploy training in an organisation where they were training on ICDL. The system allowed the organisation to accommodate a complex rotation of employees through a menu of training options and assisted the tracking, registrations and progress. They were also delighted to be able to claim their skills levy reimbursement. The ease with which this could be done made the acquisition of the training that much more attractive to them.
