SunGard Europe acquires Ensemble Technologies of SA

SunGard Europe, an operating group of SunGard, today announced that it has acquired Ensemble Technologies (Pty) Limited.

Headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa, Ensemble is a privately held company and a leading local provider of technology consulting and implementation services for the financial services industry. The transaction, the terms of which have not been disclosed, is not expected to have a material impact on SunGard`s financial results.

Since the founding of the company in 1996, Ensemble has provided organisations both locally and internationally with business-driven technology systems. Prior to the acquisition, Ensemble was the only distributor and service provider of selected SunGard solutions in SA.
