Sybase and BMC Software have announced the availability of Sybase's Adaptive Server Enterprise 12.5 with BMC Software's SQL-BackTrack.
SQL-BackTrack for Sybase provides online object-level operations for the Sybase platform. It simplifies the backup and recovery process and provides optimal availability and maximum protection against lost data. BMC', a provider of enterprise management solutions, is distributed locally by MGX.

SQL -Backtrack meets increasing customer demands in the marketplace for ASE 12.5's e-business technology. Tomlinson says the high-performance tool simplifies and automates database backup and recovery with enhanced functionality, minimising downtime and effectively managing robust backup and recovery strategies.
