Database leaders, Sybase SA, have teamed up with three strategic allies to present a cross section of applications at this year's Computer Faire 2000 to be held at Gallager Estate, Midrand, from 24-27 May. "We intend to have a higher profile presence at the Faire than ever before," says Sybase marketing manager, Julie Tomlinson.
"With Sybase poised at the Java edge of e-commerce enabling companies to deliver enterprise, data-centric e-commerce solutions that integrate well into their back-end systems, we've joined Sun Microsystems on their Java Pavilion," she reports. "Sybase has also recognised the importance of supporting Linux with our key database technology and we'll be exhibiting our platform independent, mainstream database. Maintaining our close relationship with the Ariel Technologies Group, we'll be present with them at their stand highlighting a wide range of key technologies in the markets of mobile and embedded computing, business intelligence, internet application development and enterprise solutions."
