Sybase unveils Information Anywhere Suite, furthers leadership in unwired enterprise

Sybase Inc, a leading provider of enterprise-class information management and mobility software, today announced the launch of the Sybase Information Anywhere Suite, a secure, scalable mobile software platform that addresses the converging IT requirements of next-generation mobility solutions.

Combining mobile e-mail, device management, enterprise-to-edge security and enterprise application enablement, Information Anywhere Suite enables enterprise customers to securely extend back-end enterprise applications and business processes to remote workers on the frontlines.

Unlike alternatives from other vendors, the elements of the suite uniquely share a common technology infrastructure requiring fewer resources from the communications network. Supporting a variety of device types and groupware applications, Information Anywhere Suite also provides interoperability of its mobile e-mail, management and security capabilities, relieving the compatibility issues that can be encountered when implementing disparate solutions.

Mobile device management - Information Anywhere Suite allows companies to centrally manage and support devices, applications, data and communications regardless of the available bandwidth.
