Sybase, Wipro extend partnership
Sybase Software (India) and Wipro Infotech, a provider of IT and business transformation services, have extended their partnership towards promoting Sybase technologies for business continuity and enterprise mobility solutions, reports CIOL.
Wipro will provide customised services aimed at empowered and enhanced information management, disaster recovery management, and enterprise mobility using Sybase products.
The services are targeted at the healthcare, manufacturing, government, pharmaceutical, IT, as well as the banking, financial services and insurance segments.
Business continuity solution for SMEs
QuorumLabs has unveiled onQ, a new business continuity solution that provides instant, one-click recovery from any storage, server or entire site failure, according to Reuters.
According to the company, the onQ solution disaster recovery solution delivers easy, fast and reliable business continuity at a cost that meets the budget requirements of small and medium enterprises.

Unisys enhances solutions with DR
Unisys revealed the Unisys Secure Private Cloud Solution, focussed on giving companies the operational and economic benefits of cloud computing in their internal data centres, states Webhosting.
The company has also made significant enhancements to its products, and included a disaster recovery service to its Unisys Secure Cloud Solution - its managed public cloud offering.
The company says the private cloud solution enables clients to reduce IT costs through server and storage virtualisation; remove troublesome IT bottlenecks through automated operations and immediate, as-needed self-service provisioning of resources; and align the supply of IT resources to fluctuating business demand.
