Sybase subsidiary iAnywhere Solutions and Intel have announced a strategic relationship to fuel the development of always-available mobile enterprise applications that extend enterprise information to mobile workers regardless of network availability.
In line with the partnership, iAnywhere Solutions has completed extensive product testing to optimise SQL Anywhere Studio for deployment on Intel Centrino mobile technology-powered notebook computers.
In addition, the companies will conduct joint sales and marketing programmes to deliver database-powered mobile solutions to the financial services, field service, government and healthcare industries.
