Symantec consumer solutions carry 'Designed for Windows XP' logo certification worldwide

Symantec, a world leader in Internet security, today announced the following new Symantec software has received the Designed for Windows XP logo from Microsoft for the new Windows XP platform: Norton Internet Security 2002, Norton Personal Firewall 2002, Norton SystemWorks 2002, Norton AntiVirus 2002, Norton Utilities 2002, Norton CleanSweep 2002, and Norton Ghost 2002.

The Designed for Windows XP logo program brings hardware and software-quality standards under a single logo, making it easier for customers to recognise products that are designed to deliver a great computing experience with the Windows XP operating system.

With the new operating system focusing heavily on online communication and collaboration tools, Windows XP users will benefit from Symantec's best-of-breed Internet security and problem-solving solutions to maintain the safety and overall performance of their PC. Consumers can also rely on Symantec's logo compliant software to be stable when running Windows XP, installed or removed easily, and they can be assured that the basic experience with the products and the operating system will be the same or better after upgrading to future versions of Windows.
