SYSPRO tops Canadian ERP survey

Johannesburg, 15 Aug 2006

SYSPRO, the leading producer of enterprise software for mid-size manufacturers and distributors, was ranked number one by end-users in eight categories of the Canadian CA Magazines 2nd Annual User Survey of Mid-market Accounting and ERP Systems.

SYSPRO was awarded the highest rankings in the categories that rate overall satisfaction, continuous improvement, documentation, support and upgrade reliability. It was ranked number one in the mid-market categories for the product's distribution and manufacturing capabilities as well as number one in developer, implementer and return on investment.

Says Meryl Malcomess, marketing director of SYSPRO Africa: "CAmagazine is the leading accounting publication in Canada and is the preferred information source for accountants and financial executives.

"That we swept the field in the survey beating the likes of ACCPAC, Great Plains and Navision is wonderful and confirms the feature richness of SYSPRO as a complete mid-tier enterprise solution."

According to Michael Burns, author and developer of the survey: "Congratulations to the implementers of SYSPRO, which was the only system that landed high scores in most of the implementer rankings."

With ERP sites running in 62 countries and more than 1 500 channel and support partners, SYSPRO has the biggest global footprint of any South African software company.
