In line with its move to provide its reseller partners with the tools and resources required to drive the HP enterprise brand, Tarsus Technologies has increased its focus on its pre-sales competency within the HP server and storage range.
According to Greg Pothitos, general manager of the HP ESS group at Tarsus, the company's two specialists, Gunter Kampmann and Sergio Maffia, have an extremely technical background and are highly qualified individuals in the HP certification ranks.
This, he says, makes them perfect for the job at hand.
"They literally live the HP server and storage brand at Tarsus," Pothitos says. "When they're not in the technical demo centre showing resellers and customers around the blade server and storage solution we have on show, they're out with resellers at customers' premises either assisting with a presentation or helping with hardware configuration.
"We'd like our resellers to know that Gunter and Sergio's resources are 100% at their disposal - the more resellers draw on these resources, the more powerful and comprehensive their presentations will be," he says, "and ultimately, the more successful their ventures with the HP ESG brand will be.
"Apart from continuing commitment to keeping our technical and pre-sales resource-base strong, we've built a mobile blade demonstration centre and retooled our configuration centre to ensure that resellers can focus on what really matters, namely, the customer's needs.
"Our efforts are showing great results and will in all likelihood continue well into the coming years," he concludes.
