TCS enhances SMSC solution
TeleCommunication Systems, a provider of mission-critical wireless communications, has enhanced its Short Message Service Centre (SMSC) solution to enable wireless carriers to deliver next-generation, location-based messaging services to their subscribers, reports CNN Money.
Key new features that work in concert with one another include SMS banners, location-based service support, and enhanced anti-spam capability.
"TCS recently celebrated 10 years as a market leader with our SMSC solution, and we are committed to the continued support of our wireless carrier customers with the development of next-generation text messaging solutions," said Timothy Lorello, chief marketing officer of TCS.
Sporano, Telstra partner
Soprano Design has signed an agreement with Telstra for the provision of Telstra's next generation of enterprise and government messaging solution to be known as Telstra Integrated Messaging powered by Soprano (TIM), says PR.com.
TIM is based on the Soprano Mobile Enterprise Messaging Suite and is combined with Telstra's carrier-grade messaging network.
The initial release of TIM includes Soprano Campaign Manager, Soprano StaffMatch and Soprano Mobile Authenticator.
Crossbeam, Trend release solution
Crossbeam Systems, a provider of next-generation security platforms for high-performance networks, and Trend Micro, a global Internet content security company, have released the Next Generation Content Gateway Solution for Messaging Security, states FOX Business.
This solution couples the virtualisation, consolidation and performance benefits of Crossbeam's carrier-class X-Series Next Generation Security Platform with Trend Micro's leading gateway messaging security to provide a high performance e-mail security solution.
Trend Micro InterScan Messaging Security Suite is the newest addition to be available on Crossbeam's Next Generation Content Gateway solution, blocking spam, phishing, viruses, spyware and other malicious e-mail content.
