AV Planners and a market research firm have rolled out a new content delivery system, according to The Open Press.

This system allows in-house non-technical staff to save audio and video onto a USB stick drive.

A proprietary Intel-based industrial-grade PC is integrated into existing recording and broadcasting equipment located at the research centre facility.

Nigerian broadcasting gets boost

Nigeria's broadcast and audio-visual production business environment is set to be boosted following the planned investment of over £30 million, reports The Guardian.

This investment is by a UK-based company, Well Trade Services UK, in partnership with electronics and home entertainment and production company, Sony.

The foreign companies, which are partnering with a Nigerian company, Creazioni Communications, are targeting the growing broadcast, film and allied industries.

Six GoGear models released

Philips has unveiled a range of GoGear portable video and audio players for all on-the-go entertainment needs, reports Al Bawaba.

According to the company, there are six new models that promise superb sound reproduction and great all-round value.

The flagship Philips GoGear Opus portable audio and video player features a 16GB, 2.8-inch QVGA colour screen that can record online videos directly from the PC.
