Microsoft TechEd Africa 2013 presented over 20 sessions focused on the "modern Office" - the newly released Office 2013 and the subscription version, Office 365.

Deployments of Office 365 range from simple, standalone configurations for small businesses, to highly complex and integrated deployments for enterprise. The conference sessions described the architectural patterns behind these hybrid deployments, with customers sharing real deployment stories and lessons learned.

While the TechEd Africa sessions are only available for those who attended the conference, similar content is available on Microsoft's Channel 9 Web site, under TechEd Australia. In "Office 365 deployment lessons from the field", Microsoft takes users through the subtle differences between Exchange on-premise and Exchange Online.

Here are the top five Office 365 sessions on Channel 9:
* Introducing Office 365 for Enterprises
* Microsoft Project Online Overview
* Click-to-Run: The New Office Deployment and Update Management
* Office 365 Identity Federation Technology Deep-Dive
* Voice of the Customer: Office 365
