Tel.Com `99, the telecoms conference and exhibition, opened today at Gallagher Estate, Midrand, with a keynote address by Jay Naidoo, Minister of Posts, Broadcasting and Telecommunications.
Other speakers at the plenary session were Adam Urdang, MD of WorldSpace, and Dr John Temple, chairman of Tellumat Holdings. About 80 international and local companies have stands at the exhibition, which runs alongside the conference until Thursday.
