Telecom Egypt selects Group 1
Group 1 Software has been selected by Telecom Egypt as its customer communications management (CCM) solutions provider of choice to enhance the customer billing process, reports Al Bawaba.
Group 1 Software will be implementing a suite of CCM components to enable Telecom Egypt to deliver convergent billing and e-billing to the company's extensive customer base.
The solution includes: DOC1 Series 5, e2 Vault, e2 Service, e2 OAM, OpenEDMS, and Content Author. Additionally, the software will be interfacing with the Geneva billing system to create multilingual bills in Arabic and English.
eBillingHub continues to strengthen
eBillingHub has announced record results for the first-half of 2007. This is highlighted by a 100% increase in its customers, customer wins in the AmLaw 200, a new time and billing platform support, and widespread industry validation, according to BusinessWire.
Law firms are suffering financially from the e-billing complexity and volume, and need a way to simplify the process.
CFOs and controllers have realised that adding more billing staff is not the answer; they need tools to reduce the complexity of the process.
California regulates e-billing
The Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) has posted its proposed medical billing standards and electronic billing regulations to an online forum where members of the public may review and comment on the proposal, according to workerscompensationinfo.com.
The proposed regulations are intended to streamline medical treatment billing and payment, creating efficiencies for the parties and facilitating prompt payment of bills.
The DWC obtained valuable input from the workers' compensation community through advisory committee meetings in the process of developing the proposal.
