Telkom has unveiled a tablet app that allows stakeholders to review the company's financial data.
Telkom yesterday announced the Telkom Financial Reports App, a mobile device application for those with financial interests in the company. It allows users to review its financial credentials - including annual reports, and annual and interim results - and keep abreast of JSE announcements, via the exchange's news service, SENS.
Designed and built by Telkom, the free app is live on the Apple App store and is available for public download.
An Android version of the Telkom Financial Reports App is also available from Google Play, which is compatible with 10-inch devices running Android 3.0 and up. The telco says development is “in the pipeline” to support smaller displays.
The launch of the mobile product, says Telkom, is in preparation for its annual results presentation, which takes place tomorrow.
“All Telkom's latest financial information will be updated on the app at the same time as the corporate Web site.”
