Government at all levels is caught up in matters of sanitation this week.

However, all is not lost for the ICT sector. The latest National Tender Bulletin still offers a healthy selection of new opportunities to supply technology to the state, three cancellations and numerous award announcements.

The Western Cape Department of Education features highly in the awards category, confirming 10 tenders to the value of R66 million for computing hardware for 16 of its schools.

The State Information Technology Agency also makes a splash with a R6 million contract to Centrax Systems, to support it in the establishment of a Microsoft agreement for government.
