The State IT Agency (SITA) has published a tender document for the refurbishment of desktop computers at the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development countrywide.
The agency invites companies with expertise and capabilities of providing services and products for the refurbishment of desktop computers to the justice department to submit tenders for a "one-stop" solution which is client focused, flexible, economical and sustainable.
This is aimed at increasing productivity while curbing capital expenditure and maintenance costs within the department's budget target.
SITA has also published a tender for the provision of Citrix Solutions as government seeks to improve its delivery capabilities.
The organisation announced on its Web site that it is looking to create a preferred list of accredited Citrix Solutions network partners nationally, who will participate in the agreement between SITA and Citrix in procuring Citrix software and rendering services.
SITA says these will enable the government to improve its delivery capabilities, provide economical services to citizens and enable provincial procurement preference.
