Currently, Zotec's flagship product, the Electronic Billing Centre practice management and billing software suite, is in use in 45 states and more than 5 500 physicians' offices in the US.

ViaStar customers transferred to NWP

NWP Services, a provider of financial transaction processing solutions for the multi-family housing industry, has completed the transition of ViaStar Energy's billing customers to NWP's billing system, says IBTimes.

NWP Services acquired ViaStar Energy, an Indianapolis-based provider of utility billing and meter installation and maintenance services in August.

"We are very pleased to have now welcomed our new property management customers and look forward to contributing to their financial success through the delivery of quality utility billing, electronic rent payment and utility management services," says Michael Radice, president and CEO of NWP.

Daisy e-billing campaign takes off

UK business communication provider Daisy Communications has converted over 30% of its client base to electronic billing, according to The Paypers.

released by company representatives one year after the launch of its e-billing conversion campaign shows 13 000 of Daisy's 30 000 customers have adopted e-billing, thus cutting back on paper bill production and delivery costs.

Daisy, which mainly services small and medium-sized UK companies, says it plans to expand the proportion of customers who receive and settle their bills online to 90% in 2009, proportionally decreasing its paper-based resources and lowering its carbon footprint.
