IFS unveils EPCI Toolkit
IFS has unveiled a software tool called the EPCI Toolkit which it says offers engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contractors complete control of projects, regardless of their size, reports Pace.
The EPCI Toolkit is designed to provide system support for all the operational processes in an EPCI project and comes with a Web-based user interface with flexible solutions for information exchange based on a variety of standards.
The Toolkit is targeted at organisations which have adapted their business applications to suit large projects. However as these decline in sectors such as oil and gas, they are faced with changing their procedures and methods to support modification assignments and smaller projects.
